Slim Chance is a Philly-based rock band that draws its sonic identity from British Invasion garage rock, American folk, blues, and late-70s power pop.

The band came to be in 2025 when Liz Van Horn (vocals/guitar), Steve Newell (drums), Mike Dudolevitch (guitar/vocals) and John Cunningham (bass/vocals/production) joined forces and had so much fun playing together that they didn’t care if there was a “slim chance” anything would come of it. They’ve now had a steady flow of local gigs in Philly and the surrounding suburbs and are continuing to expand. The band’s debut EP “Kind of Love” was released in April, 2026.
